Site launched. Not yet completed but it was imperative to test the work done to date.
A lot of information has still to be sifted and will be included in future updates (which also includes other Steetley Sites) and will be logged on this page.
Naturally, any contributions to the archive or database will be welcome. Eventually, after being copied electronically I intend to archive the original material locally. The Harrington photos have already been sent to Cumbria.
I have to thank the following friends and colleagues for their valuable support: John Fawcett, Eddie Horsley, Dave Womersley, Robert CM Smith, John Smailes and Ronnie Taylor.
Constructive comments and corrections are much appreciated.
